Dedicated to Fun, Friendship and Frivolity

On November 19th, we had a
wonderful turnout for the dinner
and Memorial Service celebrating
the life of Anne Ohde at the
Confluence Park Restaurant. It
was so good to see so many of
you there. We missed those of you
who weren't able to join us. We
enjoyed a delicious dinner, lots of
fellowship and many fond
memories of Anne.
Beth and Jenene put together a
wonderful video tribute to Anne,
with lots of wonderful pictures, a
poem and music. You two are
fantastic, heartfelt thanks for the
lovely celebration. Beverly then
invited family and friends and
Pastor Jim for a Memorial service
and provided a birthday cake in
honor of Anne's 95th. Beverly also
had lots of photos around the
room for us to enjoy and
remember Anne. Anne was such a
sweet, sweet lady and touched so
many lives. She truly enjoyed
being a part of the Gadabout Gals
group and will be remembered
always. Keep Beverly in your
prayers and feel free to stop by or
give her a call anytime as she
would welcome the company.
Our next and last get-together of
the year will be Wednesday,
December30, to go to the Franklin
Park Conservatory to see the
beautiful Christmas Poinsettia
display and the Chihuly Exhibit.
Sandy would like to meet at the
Old Bag O Nails on Nelson Rd. at
5:00-5:30 for Happy Hour and/or a
quick bite to eat before heading
around the corner to the
Conservatory.
As the holiday season draws near,
try not to stress out, take time to
enjoy the simple things, friends
and loved ones in your life. Each
day is a gift to be shared.
God Bless each of you and I hope
you enjoy the holidays.
Hugs,
Debbie
