Our latest outing to the Spaghetti
Warehouse was a perfect evening of
celebrating Valentine's Day and
February birthdays. Nancy and Trish
did a great job! We each got a
'valentine bag' filled with goodies from
each other. The bags were filled with
valentines, pencils, a candy pacifier,
homemade 'bourbon fudge' (wow) to
mention a few of the items that we all
stuffed in each bag. The tables were
decorated with romantic flower
bouquets and lacy valentines.
Our newest member, Jackie
Roberts, was given a warm welcome
receiving a red rose and also winning
one of the raffle prizes. The raffle
made $14 and other winners of the
raffle prizes were Kathy K. and
Carolyn. All the prizes were donated
by Jean Jay.
Beth provided the delicious
CHOCOLATE birthday cake for Carol,
Deb K. and Trish. Sorry, Deb, that you
couldn't be there to help us eat your
cake. It seemed as though many
were celebrating February BD's as
refrains of Happy Birthday kept drifting
through the air. But the Red Hats
were not to be out done with their
rendition of Happy Birthday! I think we
were the loudest and silliest.
Queen Mum Jane asked us to share
a happy moment we had experienced
in the past week and although we
heard of some special moments,
Ginger could not be beat with her tale
of being on the Sea of Galilee. She
also got a rose for having what we
decided was the most exciting happy
moment. We oohed and aahed over
Lia Sophia jewelry purchases. We all
may have another chance to indulge
in some new jewelry for ourselves.

we shared with one another. Spirits
were high and we even imbibed in
some. We missed all you who could
not be with us and we are looking
forward to seeing you in March at
